The celebrate ROME ALONE”s birthday, you can download all four books in the series for FREE – and get ready for some holiday reading.
ROME ALONE was written to be read on a sun lounger – I was tired of finishing books halfway through my holiday and decided to write a book that would last an entire vacation. The first draft was one of 100 winners of the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook’s New Novel Centenary Award.
Since then, three more books have been added to the series, continuing the story – ROME AGAIN, VERONE ALONE and VERONA AGAIN.
The series follows the lives and adventures of Belinda Rightson (Bee) and Alzheimer’s expert Dr Neil McCarthy, who cross paths on separate trips to Rome. What happens in Rome will change their lives forever and immerse them in a world of crime and dark secrets neither suspects.

If you enjoy romance, crime, travel and humour, set off for ROME ALONE – and also visit Verona, Venice, Ravenna, Berlin, London, Scotland and New York, as lives begin to unravel against a backdrop of international crime.
The next two books in the series will be ROME AT LAST and VERONA AT LAST, with more mysteries, romance, humour and travel to come.
The ROME ALONE series will be available to download FREE on Wednesday 26 May and Thursday 27 May!
All the books contain sexual content.

About the ROME ALONE Series

The ROME ALONE series begins in the Eternal City with ROME ALONE, where Alzheimer’s expert Dr Neil McCarthy and unhappy housewife Belinda Rightson both decide to spend a long weekend to forget their marital woes. As Dr McCarthy tries to keep panic attacks at bay and Bee worries about the state of her marriage to City trader Max, somehow their paths keep crossing – until on one rainy night, a meeting seems inevitable.
In ROME AGAIN, Bee and Dr McCarthy find themselves in the Eternal City again three years later – and the dark forces at work they did not suspect on their first trip begin to unravel, as Belinda’s past links to a summer in Rome forty years’ ago, when her mother conceived her in a hippy commune in gang-run Magliana.
In New York, the FBI’s organised crime maverick Ed Fenshall is still in pursuit of Romanian crime baron Lazlo Dagobert, one of the bureau’s Top Ten Most Wanted.
Happily divorced Ed is a short man with a large head, thanks to his mild anchroplasia. A beacon for equal opportunities at the bureau, he has a taste for bourbon and a dangerous weakness for women.

When he crosses paths with Alzheimer’s researcher Dr Neil McCarthy in Rome, Ed’s world opens out personally and professionally – and his decade-long investigation into Lazlo Dagobert takes off again.
