Meanwhile Alzheimer’s researcher Neil McCarthy finds a former colleague needs help urgently – and Ed Fenshall and Karl O’Rourke set off to assist in the recovery of a presumed kidnap victim, who may hold the key to their case involving Romanian drug baron Lazlo Dagobert and a scandal in the pharmaceutical industry.

VERONA AT LAST is the final chapter of the ROME ALONE series, which takes us to New York, as Special Agent Ed Fenshall finds himself caught up in a web of deceit that threatens to destroy his personal life and career – and discovers the real reason for a fatal flaw inside himself and why he must return to Verona one last time.
